LEGO Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 instructions.

*Update April 2022 – I updated this design to improve some aspects that were not very good before. My instructions now contain both designs  – old (Blue) design and new (Tan) color design. I suggest to use new designs because its more realistic and better in every way. More on that in my blog post. First images in my gallery shows new Tan color design. Images 3 and 4 shows my old Blue color design.

LEGO Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 MOC info (updated version):
– 6 stud wide
– seating for 1 minifigure
– simple design, no rare parts
– total 151 parts from 54 lots, all parts will cost around $15

Below is original description for my old version:
This model represents classic Toyota Land Cruiser 40 in SWB version. Early designs of FJ40 version is available on my YouTube channel as free video instructions. This version is updated in every aspect. Now for the first time ever you can fit inside both minifigure and steering wheel (in previous versions because of little room inc cabin, there was no room for steering wheel). Although now since because of steering wheel minifigure is moved to the back, its possible to visible minifigures legs through the rear wheel arch in corner. Its not very bad, and its not that unusual in LEGO models, but you can avoid that – you can fill that part with brick and move minifigure one step closer. But then you will need to remove the steering wheel.
This model is related to my larger FJ45 Troopy, but there are some design differences.

LEGO Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 MOC info:
– 6 stud wide
– seating for 1 minifigure
– simple design
– total 159 parts from 56 lots, all parts will cost around $25 (windscreen part is more rare, and new part may cost up to $10, but you can get used ones for cheap). This price estimate includes $10 windscreen part.
